mindfully studio - about
Meaning & Roots
Welcome - I’m glad you found your way here
Mindfully Studio is a quiet, grounding space where you can slow down, soften, and reconnect with yourself.
Here, everything moves at a gentler pace. You are invited to arrive just as you are - no pressure, no perfection, no performance. Only space. We bring together coaching, mindfulness, yoga, and sound healing in a way that supports presence, clarity, and inner steadiness. When your mind quiets and your body feels safe, something natural happens: your own wisdom becomes easier to hear. How the name “Mindfully” evolved
When I was looking for a name, I kept returning to the simple difference between a mind full and being mindful.
A mind full is crowded - full of thoughts about yesterday, tomorrow, everything unfinished, everything expected. It feels scattered and overwhelming.
To be mindful is softer.
It means being here, aware of your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings — without judgment, without rushing, without needing to fix anything.
And mindfully /ˈmʌɪn(d)fʊli/ -
means doing something with care, presence, and awareness. A small shift that gently changes the quality of your whole experience.
My intention is simple:
that you leave the studio feeling even a little more mindful, present, and connected than when you arrived.

MINDFUL LIVING
Why this practice
We move through a world that keeps the mind busy and the body tense. Yoga brings softness back into movement. Sound calms the mind. Together, they help release tension and gently restore balance.
There is no pressure and no performance - only space to arrive exactly as you are.
What to expect
Gentle, accessible stretching that supports mobility, ease, and calm.
This practice is especially helpful if you spend long hours sitting or feel tightness in the neck, shoulders, or lower back. As the body softens, the breath widens, and the mind naturally follows.
Who benefits
This is not fitness‑driven yoga - it’s a slow, supportive space for real people, with real bodies, in real life and it’s for you if:
- you haven’t moved regularly and want to reconnect with your body
- you want to begin again after a long break
- you’ve been doing too much and need a place to slow down
- you’re looking for a small, safe group setting (up to 8 participants)
- you’re entering a new life stage and asking deeper questions - Who am I now? What do I want next? How do I return to myself?
- you need a weekly anchor that helps you step out of the busy mind and remember that change begins with small, steady steps
It is never too late for a new start. And if not now - when?About the session
We begin with a warm cup of tea and a short check‑in to help your body settle and your attention arrive. From there, we move into soft, mindful stretching and close with a grounding gong sound bath - a gentle combination that supports stress reduction, presence, and nervous‑system balance.
At the end of the session, we gather again for tea and an optional sharing circle. You’re welcome to speak, listen, or simply rest quietly. It’s a soft way to integrate the practice before stepping back into your evening.

MINDFUL LIVING
A place to exhale
The Sound Spa is a quiet, restorative space where you can slow down and meet yourself again.
The moment you arrive, you are welcomed with a warm cup of tea - a small ritual to help your body soften and your mind settle after the day.
From here, the session unfolds gently, without hurry and without pressure.
Why gongs
Gongs have ancient roots across Southeast Asia, China, and Indonesia. Their wide, layered spectrum of vibration interacts softly with your brain and nervous system, helping you shift out of the busy, active‑mind state and into deeper rest.
Most of the day, the brain operates in Beta waves (12–30 Hz) - the fast, thinking, planning mode.
During a gong bath, the mind naturally transitions into slower rhythms:
- Alpha (8–12 Hz): relaxed awareness - softer thoughts, deeper breath, easing tension
- Theta (4–8 Hz): meditative, dream‑like - insight, creativity, emotional release
- Delta (0.5–4 Hz): deep restoration - healing, nervous‑system repair, profound stillness
The sound can support:
- reduced stress
- calmer breathing and heart rate
- muscle relaxation
- deeper, restorative sleep
- nervous‑system balance
- a sense of inner spaciousness
What to expect
We begin with a few minutes of gentle stretching and a warm tea to help your body settle. Then you rest lying down while layers of sound rise, expand, and dissolve into silence. People often describe warmth, floating, tingling, spaciousness, or emotional release. Each session is personal and unique - yet most leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more grounded. Before you leave, you’re welcome to enjoy another cup of tea and sharing circle - a soft way to re‑enter the day.
Who benefits
A Sound Spa session is especially supportive if you:
- feel mentally overloaded or overstimulated
- struggle to rest or sleep deeply
- carry physical tension
- want to slow down and reconnect with yourself
- are moving through change or transition
- wish for a gentle, restorative practice
You don’t need any prior experience. Simply come as you are.
About the session
A typical session includes:
- a soft arrival and warm tea
- a short check‑in
- gentle stretching or breath practice
- a full gong bath
- grounding stillness
- tea and an optional sharing circle at the end
Everything you need is already here: yoga mats, blankets, and soft sheepskins are provided so you can relax fully. You don’t need to bring anything - unless you prefer your own blanket for extra comfort.

MINDFUL LIVING
What working with me feels like
When you work with me, you step into a calm and spacious environment where you can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. I’m fully present and neutral, offering a place for honest reflection without pressure or judgment. You lead the process - I walk beside you. Mindfulness and sound healing gently support the work, helping your body settle, your mind quieten, and clarity rise. If it feels right in the moment, a short sound healing session can be added directly after a private coaching session.
Who benefits
Coaching may support you if you feel mentally overloaded, unsure where to focus, or disconnected from your inner direction.
What to expect
- curiosity without assumptions
- clarifying, spacious questions
- simple grounding pauses
- gentle, reflective dialogue
- light reflection between sessions
Choosing the right coach
A good fit matters. Look for someone steady, grounded, and aligned with the kind of life you hope to create - someone whose way of being feels supportive and safe. It’s also important to feel a natural sense of connection between you and your coach. You’re warmly welcome to join any group stretching (yoga) or sound spa session to get a sense of my presence and to explore whether we’re a good match.

MINDFUL LIVING
My name is Kristiina. My path through learning and development, teaching, program management, customer care, owning a business, and living abroad has shaped the way I see people and growth. The values I was raised with - resilience, responsibility, and the ability to build things from the ground up - stayed with me through my years in Germany and the USA and continue to guide how I show up and support others.Like many people, I learned balance the hard way. I burned out more than once from long hours, constant responsibility, and difficulty setting boundaries. Parenting two teenagers and spending years in a sitting job pushed me to look for something that would restore me rather than drain me. That’s how I found yoga, mindfulness, and eventually -sound. Music has been with me since childhood, and reconnecting with planetary gongs felt grounding and strangely familiar.I completed my official 200‑hour Yoga Teacher Training in India in April 2024, but I had been practicing yoga long before that. Yoga slowly became a way of reconnecting with my body, creating space inside myself, and returning to my own pace. In May 2025, I completed my International Coaching Certificate, and I am still early on my coaching path.My coaching approach is rooted in presence, deep listening, and the belief that people carry their own answers - foundations that reflect the training, reflection, and self‑inquiry described in my coaching journey.Today, I bring together yoga, sound healing, and coaching to create spaces where people can soften, breathe, and return to themselves. Whether someone comes for movement, rest, clarity, or grounding, my intention is always the same: to offer a calm, safe place where they can meet themselves gently and honestly.
